FEED THE HUNGRY 2018-03-23T11:18:59+00:00

People in California are hungry. The Burrito Project provides free & nutritious meals. Together, we can help The Burrito Project make and distribute more burritos to the hungry.

This spring Greenbar Distillery is teaming up with SoCal bars to make a difference. Each bar is featuring a brand new CITY gin cocktail and, every time it’s ordered, we’ll donate a burrito to help the hungry.

We’re doing this because we care about our community, we love nutritious burritos, and we want everyone to feel a little happier.

Help Feed the Hungry - Greenbar Distillery is teaming up with The Burrito Project to feed the hungry in Los Angeles

How To Help

Every time you order a cocktail featuring CITY Bright gin at one of the bars listed below, we’ll donate a burrito.  There are a lot of hungry people in Los Angeles so we’re aiming for 10,000 burritos!

The burritos will be made by The Burrito Project and distributed throughout 2018. All burritos are made with nutritious vegan ingredients and freely handed to the hungry in Southern California.

Participating Establishments

Grab a tasty gin cocktail at these bars. We’ll donate a burrito as a thank you for every featured CITY Bright gin cocktail you buy.

Make sure you also snap a photo of your drink to enter our LA STAYCATION CONTEST.

What Is The Burrito Project?

It’s a group of people who want to help their community via nutritious food, given freely. Anyone can help make a burrito, and anyone can receive a burrito. At Greenbar Distillery, we love The Burrito Project because it builds our Los Angeles community and helps those in need.

“The Burrito Project is a collective driven by the individuals involved and by the people we feed. Purchasing, production, and distribution is a group effort.  We are not the solution or a band-aid to the homeless problem in Los Angeles County but we do provide a warm belly-filling meal to those in need. We offer our freshly-made burritos without judgment, sermon or lecture and it’s our pleasure to serve all burritos with a smile.

As children we were taught to share, a lesson that has never had any boundaries or social and economic guidelines. Childhood lessons have shaped the way The Burrito Project looks at community. As a society we have collectively allowed ourselves to look away when our eyes become uncomfortable with what they see. Let’s start with burritos and see what we can achieve.”
